A.P.E. nace en la industrial ciudad de Monterrey en el año 2011, a lo largo de los años el sonido ha ido evolucionando desde un instrumental melódico hasta algo mas caótico y pesado.
El proceso creativo dentro del grupo se basa en la improvisación
a partir de una idea base la cual evoluciona a una mezcla de texturas y sonidos dialogando entre si, que en algún momento pertenecieron a un instrumento musical.
El grupo pretende retratar la realidad de una ciudad tan contrastante; por un lado una urbe fría y en crecimiento, siempre sucia y llena de ruido y por el otro las melodías cálidas y nostálgicas de lo que alguna vez fue la promesa industrial.
La condición humana como punto de partida para un encuentro entre lo atroz y lo sublime, transforma la música en una maraña de recuerdos y símbolos.
Y luego...
completo silencio. Todo lo que vive esta quieto. ¿Las colinas se irán
apagando?, ¿El cielo caerá sobre nosotros?, ¿La tierra se abrirá bajo nuestros pies? No sabemos...
Un eclipse total nos ha encontrado por casualidad.

A.P.E. Born in the industrial city of Monterrey in 2011, over the years the sound has evolved from melodic instrumentals to something more chaotic and heavy.
The creative process within the group is based on improvising on a basic idea which evolves to a mixture of textures and sounds having a dialogue with each other.
The group intends to portray the reality of such a contrasting city; a growing city, always dirty and full of noise.
The human condition as a starting point for an encounter between the atrocious and the sublime, transforms music into a tangle of memories and symbols.
"And then ... complete silence. Everything that lives is quiet. Will the hills fade away?
Will the sky fall upon us? Will the earth open under our feet? We do not know ... A total eclipse has found us by chance. "
